Web developer in Purba Medinipur for hotels in Digha
A family planning a weekend in Digha opens a hotel's site to see the room they'll be given. When you bring your hotel to me, a web developer in Purba Medinipur, my first request is a photograph of each room type, taken as the room really looks. The way to the beach is written out beside it in plain words.
Overview
Who each room suits, in your words
I give each room type one short line, written by you, on who it suits. A couple and a family with grandparents are looking for different things, and a line in your words tells them which room to ask for.
Each line is a sentence or two at most. If a room sleeps a family of four but not five, the line says so plainly, and nobody arrives expecting an extra bed.
You write the first version of each line. I edit it for length, never for the facts.
If you'd rather not write, tell me how you'd describe each room to a family at the desk, and I'll write that down.
Two audiences
Three answers a family looks for first
Each answer has a fixed place on the site.
What the family wants to know
- What the room looks like
- How far the beach is
- Whether the rate will hold
Where the site answers it
- A photograph of each room type, high on the page
- A plain sentence under the photographs
- The rate charged at the desk, shown beside each room
What gets built here
Further down a hotel's page
Next come the things a family would otherwise ring to ask. None of it needs a long paragraph. A plain line for each point is enough.
- What each room has — beds, bathroom and fan or AC, listed the same way for every room.
- Check-in and check-out times — written as you run them, with no range.
- Directions from a landmark the family will pass — in your words, the way you'd give them on the phone.
- A photograph of the front — so a first-time guest knows the place when they reach it.

Where this runs over
Four things from the hotel
Each of these starts with you.
- Every room detail on the site starts with what you tell me. Nothing is filled in from guesswork, and if you're unsure of a detail, it waits until you've checked.
- The distance to the beach is yours to describe. Walk it once and tell me what a family passes on the way, and I'll turn that into two or three plain sentences.
- A rate is changed from the editor by whoever sets it at the desk, so the site and the desk agree.
- The room photographs are yours to take or arrange, with every room clean, made up and in good light. Before you start, I'll send a short list of the shots worth taking.
What moves the number
Where a bigger quote comes from
A hotel with many room types is a larger job than one with three. The rest depends on what is already in hand, and on how much of the writing you want to do yourself.
| What changes it | Why |
|---|---|
| Room types | each one with its own photographs and description adds to the build |
| An availability page | kept for phase two |
| The Google profile | fixing the one you have, or creating one |
| Photographs | ready now, or a shoot still to arrange |
| A page about getting to the hotel | worth adding if families ring for directions |
What changes the size of the job.

Projects you can open and ask about
Some of my 900+ projects completed are on the projects page. Pick the one closest to a hotel and open it. If none is close, pick the one whose problem looks most like yours.
Ask me about it on the call. I'll tell you what that client needed, and what I'd do differently if I built it today.

FAQ
Running a hotel site from day one
Digha first, then Haldia and Tamluk.
Can a hotel site take bookings directly?
- A hotel site can take booking enquiries from the first version, by phone or WhatsApp. Whoever answers confirms each date, the way the desk does now. A calendar of free dates can be scoped later, once you know families want one.
What if two room types look almost the same?
- Two room types that look almost the same still get separate photographs. The line under each says what's different, such as a bigger bed or a higher floor, so a family can choose between them.
How many photographs does each room type need?
- Each room type needs a small set of photographs, not a gallery. One shows the whole room from the door, one shows the bed and one shows the bathroom. Anything a room has that the others do not, such as a balcony, gets its own picture.
Should a Digha hotel show its rates on the site?
- A Digha hotel's rates belong on its site, beside each room, as the figure a family will pay when they arrive. If a weekend rate isn't the same as a weekday one, the site shows both, so there's no surprise at check-in.
What does a Haldia supplier's site need?
- A Haldia supplier's site is a different build from a hotel's, made for a purchase manager checking a specification. It sets out capacity, certifications and the safety record, and says which department handles a purchase enquiry.
Where does a shop in Tamluk start?
- For a Tamluk shop, I start with the Google profile, because a nearby customer looks there for hours and directions. Once that's correct, a few pages that match it follow, and the profile links to them.
Next step
Start with the room list
On a call, we go through your room types one by one. For each, you tell me who it suits, and that's the line that goes under its photograph.
