Web developer in Sonarpur for trades with work to show

When you need a web developer in Sonarpur, I start with the jobs you've already finished. New households keep arriving in Sonarpur, and the trades that serve them compete on the same search terms. A gallery of your own finished work, with a caption under each photograph, gives a customer something real to judge you by.

Overview

Your phone photographs, not stock images

A photograph of a finished job is something a customer can judge for themselves. A line of description asks them to take your word for it. The gallery goes high on the homepage, straight after what you do and where you work.

I'll take your own phone photographs over polished stock images every time. They don't have to be perfect. A slightly crooked photograph of a real job still shows the work.

Each caption says what the job was. A customer setting up a new home can picture the same work in their own rooms.

What gets built here

What goes on a trade site

What each trade site carries, whatever the trade.

  • Finished jobs — each one as its own entry, with a line saying what was done.
  • The work you take on — each kind of job on its own line, so a customer can see you do theirs.
  • How to reach you — a phone number and a WhatsApp link, side by side.

Where this comes from

Who is on the team

Each trade site is built by my team — three developers, a designer and three SEO specialists in the Kolkata, India office, plus around six people working remotely — and I lead it.

You'll deal with me from the first conversation to the handover.

What moves the number

Four answers that size the job

Start with your camera roll. If the finished jobs are already photographed, the build is mostly a matter of choosing which ones go in.

  • How many finished jobs are already photographed, and how many still need a visit with a phone
  • Whether you write the captions, or I draft them from a conversation with you
  • How many kinds of work need a page of their own
  • Whether your Google listing needs correcting so it matches the site

Where this runs over

Where my part stops

Some of this stays with you.

  • The photographs have to come from you. A job that was never photographed can't be shown.
  • Before-and-after pairs need a photograph taken at the start of a job, so that habit starts on your next one. It's easy to forget once the work is under way.
  • Captions need your facts, such as what the job was and what was used. I write them, and you check them.

FAQ

Before you send the photographs

No camera or design skills are needed from you.

What should we photograph on a finished job?

Photograph the finished job from where a customer would stand, then take one or two close-ups of the detail that took the most care. Take them in daylight if you can. A phone that takes a clear photograph is enough, and you don't need anything else.

Can the gallery grow after launch?

The gallery is built so you can add a job yourself from the editor. You upload the photographs, write a line about the work and publish it. Launching with a handful of jobs works, and the rest go in as you finish them. Older jobs can stay for as long as the photographs show your work fairly.

Should every job have its own page?

One gallery page, sorted by the kind of work, is where I'd start. A page for a single job makes sense later, for a larger job with a story behind it, such as a full renovation.

How will customers in Sonarpur find the site?

Customers in Sonarpur find a trade site by searching for the job they need done nearby. Each kind of work you take on gets its own page, and basic on-page SEO is part of the build. Your Google listing helps too, once it matches the site.

Do we need a logo before the site is built?

You don't need a new logo before the build starts. Your current name and colours are enough to work with. If you'd like a new one, logo and brand design is something my team does, scoped as a separate job.

Next step

Which kinds of work do you take on?

List the kinds of work you take on, in the order you'd like more of them. On the call, we'll turn that list into the site's pages, one kind of work at a time.
