Image Resize & Crop
Crop to exact pixel sizes — several sizes from one image — and download as JPEG, PNG or WebP.
Crop one image to exact pixel sizes — several sizes at once — and download them as JPEG, PNG or WebP. Each output is a centre cover-crop, so nothing is stretched. Presets for hero, card, square and Open Graph sizes; everything runs in your browser.
A photo in the wrong ratio gets cut to fit the box — and sometimes the part that goes is the product.
Crop and resize to the exact box, in your browser. Nothing uploaded.

Runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored. Close the tab and it is gone.
Recommended browser: Works best in Google Chrome. Also tested in Firefox and Microsoft Edge; Safari opens everything except saving as WebP, and the tool tells you when that is the case.
After the crop
Every picture cut to the box it sits in
Left: one photo dropped into a hero, a card and a share preview, cut differently by each, and sometimes the part that goes is the product. Right: one crop for each place, taken from the centre of the picture at the exact pixel size that place uses, saved as JPEG, PNG or WebP.

About the image resize & crop
Cropping to exact dimensions without distortion
Most layouts need images in fixed boxes — a 16:9 hero, a square avatar, a 1200 × 630 social card — and a photo almost never comes in the right ratio. Stretching it to fit is what makes faces look wrong. This tool scales the image to cover the box and trims the excess from the centre, which is what a designer would do by hand.
Add every size you need at once. A single product photo can become the card image, the square thumbnail and the social preview in one click, named product-1200x800.webp, product-1080x1080.webp and so on.
FAQ
Image Resize & Crop — questions
What is a cover crop?
- The image is scaled until it fills the whole target box, then whatever overflows is trimmed equally from the sides or the top and bottom. The result is the exact size you asked for with no distortion.
What size is an Open Graph (social preview) image?
- 1200 × 630 pixels is the size Facebook, LinkedIn, X and most chat apps expect. There is a preset for it.
Can I get several sizes from one image?
- Yes — add up to five sizes (width × height × format) and crop once; every size downloads together as a zip.
Which format should I choose?
- WebP for anything on a website; JPEG when a platform needs it; PNG when you need lossless output or transparency.
